No, I'm not crazy. I only like to behave that way.
If you must know, I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, which is a territory of the U.S.A. That means that all puertoricans are U.S. citizens by birth. The old farmers who used to work inland were called "jibaros" and the photo is a monument in their honor. For those of you who know me, no, I didn't turn to stone. Anyhow, that's your history lesson for the day.
I moved to the U.S. back in 1989 and I am now somewhere in New York - the state, not the city, although I lived there for a while.
I am old enough to know better but young enough to still be able to do something about it, and that's all I'm going to say about that.
I love cooking and I love eating. That, as you may suspect, is a dangerous mix. Fortunately - or not - I am a good cook.
I don't believe in labels of any kind, particularly political ones. I've been called liberal, moderate, conservative, and even reactionary. I've been called good-hearted, tolerant, naive, and utopian. And I've been called blunt, dark, sarcastic and twisted.
They are all true, and then again none of them are.
