I know. I was shocked too. But that's what the latest poll revealed:
By a margin of almost 4 to 1 — and even a solid majority among
registered Republicans — New York State voters support raising the
state income tax on people who make more than $1 million a year.
What were the actual numbers?
By a 78 - 18 percent margin voters support raising the state income tax on people who
make more than $1 million a year. Even Republicans support this tax hike 56 - 36 percent.
Go figure! Pro-tax Republicans.
